Build the Bond that Lasts a Lifetime!
The younger the pup, the easier the training is on the dog and you. Train before bad habits set in. Although dogs can be trained at a later age, the best time to start formal training is 4 to 6 months depending on maturity level.

Remember that training is up to you. Come to us with your issues and goals and we’ll show you how not only to accomplish them, but surpass them. We offer group classes, one on one private lessons (whole family invited), and boot camp. Take your pick or mix your options.

Our Rules & Regulations regarding vaccinations for all training options can be found here. We kindly request that you (or your vet) fax ahead vaccination records to us at 630-232-8667.

Daily Training
$65.00 per day/dog
10% Multiple Dog Discount
$351.00 for a package of 6 Daily Trains (10% Savings)

Drop off your dog at the facility between 7:00am - 9:00am and pick him/her up between 5:00pm - 6:30pm. During this time, we will train your dog starting with basic obedience and work on behavioral issues. With this option of training they rotate throughout the day with training and also partake in daycare (if applicable). At the end of the day the trainer will spend approx 10 minutes to give you a report on your dog and instruct you how to continue in the home. At some point it is highly recommended that at least one private lesson take place to thoroughly go through and teach the owners how to properly maintain a healthy relationship between dog and owner in the home.                                                             Back to TOP

Boot Camp
$1295.00 per dog for On Leash
$1295.00 per dog for Off Leash

During boot camp the dog stays with us! We place the foundation: obedience, manners, consistency, and behavioral issues are worked. This includes, but not limited to: heel, sit, down, stay, come, begging, jumping, nipping, territorial w/food or bones, public situations, driving in the car, etc. This is great for those who have serious problems or simply just do not have the time or patience.

All canines have individual personalities & aptitude levels. There are many reasons that factor into the time needed... such as age, type of problem(s), goals desired by the owner, etc. therefore, the weekly minimums may vary +/- with each canine.

On leash is 3 weeks. Off leash is an additional 3 weeks. On leash and off leash training can be done all at once or split into two time frames. Included in this program is one lesson per week that the dog stays with us. For example, the dog stays with us 3 weeks… you will get 3 one hour private lessons to show you what and how you need to continue. The first lesson must take place the day the dog goes home. Although you will not be able to ‘visit’ with your dog during his stay, you can see him and we will put on a demonstration to show you what progress he has made to date. The dog will not know you are there. Shows are by request/appointment only.

Classes
Please show up for the first day of class 20 minutes early to get checked in and fitted for a training collar (if needed). We usually have all training supplies available for purchase on sight as long as inventory allows. Please show up on time for the classes to avoid interruption and repetitiveness to the other students.

We do limit class sizes. Depending on outcome we may need to split a class into 2 classes; one of which will switch to a different night and time.

Basic Obedience (4 months & up)
$160.00 for one 6 week class, Tuesday evenings from 6:30pm to 7:30pm

This class requires a 6-foot leash (preferably leather, but not required) and a collar. You may stop in prior to class to discuss the proper training collar (if needed) or show up a little early to be properly fitted.

In this popular class you will learn basic on leash commands. You will be transitioning from treats to your vocal and physical praising. Besides learning the basic commands the end results of this class is to have the dog focus on you… to listen to your commands the first time you ask despite all the distractions. You will learn to teach your dog on leash to: Heel, Sit, Down, Sit Stay, Down Stay, and Come. We also cover the topics of housebreaking, chewing, biting, jumping, socialization, and any specific problems you may be having with your dog. You will be given “homework” between classes. There is a final demonstration test the last day of class. If you pass, you are free to move to the intermediate class. If you do not pass, you either need to repeat basic obedience class, schedule daily train sessions, or take private lessons until you are able to pass the test.

Intermediate Obedience  (Must complete & pass basic)
$160.00 per dog for one 6 week class, Tuesday evenings from 7:45pm to 8:45pm
In this class you will need your 6 ft leash, a long line (min of 25ft), and a short tab.

The next step is to begin the off leash training. In this class we build the consistency and reinforce the commands that were taught in the basic obedience class and then take them to the next level. We will teach your dog to resist difficult temptations and listen from further distances. Open discussion is always available for any behavioral issues. You will again be given “homework” between classes. There is a final demonstration test the last day of class. If you pass, you are free to move to the advanced class. If you do not pass, you either need to repeat Intermediate obedience class,
schedule daily train sessions, or take private lessons until you are able to pass the test.

Advanced Training –  On going (Must complete & pass intermediate)

$8.00 per class/per dog.

Please call ahead or email us to make sure class is a go for that night.

Always have your 6-foot leash, long line, and short tab with you. If you have a dog that is aggressive, always bring your muzzle. We may teach things that could require other items.

This class is designed for people to continue:
Training,  giving a long term well-roundedness to your dog’s mental health
Spending time with their dog, continuing the bond between owner and dog
Getting the dog out of the house, break the boredom and give your dog something to do
Working on behavioral issues

There is no set curriculum to this class. Everyday is different from the last. Always wear comfortable shoes. We may take the dogs out on the road (field trip!). Play games, work on obstacle footing and confidence, learn a trick, continue with off leash training, learn to fetch, etc. There is no need to sign up for this class. As long as you have passed Intermediate Obedience just show up and pay as you go. Warning this class can run over the time stated. You are always more than welcome to leave when needed.
