Meet The Trainer and Owner
Biography
Stephannie
started working with dogs in the early 1990’s. Since then she knew she
would always be working with dogs. Her schooling and experience was
cultivated by T.O.P.S. Canine Complex in
Grayslake
,
IL
- The premier canine training facility in the
Midwest
. Her involvement at T.O.P.S. enabled her to work with residential dogs,
service dogs, sports celebrity dogs, and the pre-training on several
police k9’s, specializing with problem and aggressive behavior. Over
the years Stephannie has worked with all different breeds and ages, but
the most important talent she has obtained is teaching the dog owner how
fair and consistent training builds trusting relationships with their
pets. By being a balanced trainer she uses her knowledge on canine pack
behavior and applies these relationships in her training methods.
Knowing that you can not give human solutions to canine problems are all
key factors that will provide the natural connection with your dog.
Creating this tight bond between family and their pet will always be
Stephannie’s #1 goal
Vision
Training
is a core passion of ours. Believing that with the proper training and
socialization skills, dogs become closer members of the family and are
able to do more together simply because they are more of a joy to be
around. Therefore, the dogs live a much happier, fuller, and
well-balanced life. As owners learn how to handle and enjoy their pets
they are less likely to give up their furry family member equaling less
dogs in shelters. As a snow ball effect, we believe that if dog owners
do their part, little by little, dogs will eventually be more welcomed
in public places. Dogs are capable of so much… more than many owners
realize. Families living with dogs do not have to live in a frustrated,
hectic environment.
